# Digicity > Digicity is an isometric city builder for iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Macs, made by A Secret Company, LLC. You zone a 128×128 map from 1900 and the city decides for itself whether to grow. Open Build, the sandbox, is free and complete, with no ads, no account and no connection needed to play. Digicity is sold on the App Store as "Digicity: City Builder". It is sometimes written DigiCity; the name is Digicity. Nothing appears because you placed it: buildings arrive when demand, power, water, road access and land value line up, and stall when they do not. 14 map overlays show which condition a district is missing. Scenario mode plays a city through 4 historical eras, each of which changes the simulation rules. ## Platforms - iPhone: iOS 26.0 or later, Digicity 26.9 or later. Plays in landscape. The whole game, not a trimmed one: the same map, the same simulation, the same saves. iPhone starts with Digicity 26.9; the App Store always gives you the current version. - iPad: iPadOS 26.0 or later. Built around touch, with keyboard shortcuts throughout when a keyboard is attached. - Mac: macOS 26.0 or later on a Mac with Apple M1 chip or later. The iPad game on an Apple silicon Mac, with its keyboard shortcuts. - One App Store download covers all three. Rated 4+. ## Price - Open Build: Free. The sandbox, complete.
